In 2005, the Manitoba Gaming Control Commission (MGCC) became the first Canadian gaming regulator with a legislated mandate to educate the public about responsible gambling. While we fulfill this mandate primarily through our public education campaigns, our multi-faceted approach to responsible gambling education also includes a variety of other initiatives to improve Manitobans’ knowledge about gambling and to promote strategies for gambling responsibly.
