Other Public Education Initiatives

In addition to running widespread public education campaigns of its own, the Manitoba Gaming Control Commission supports other initiatives to promote responsible gambling and consumer protection messages.

The MGCC has sponsored the Manitoba Consumers’ Bureau’s Protect Yourself Calendar  (Calendrier 2010 protegez-vous) for four years, contributing consumer protection messages  and featuring information from both the myth-busting and limit-setting public education campaigns.

The MGCC has also sponsored responsible gambling messages in the Manitoba Seniors’ Guide  (French and English) which is published by the Manitoba Seniors and Healthy Aging Secretariat.
